第12回国際異種移植学会(IXA)のおしらせ

このたび2013年11月10-13日、大阪国際会議場において、第12回国際異種移植学会が開催されます.

　また、13日お昼には、[Zoonosis and Regulation]と題し、
* Keith Wonnacott(FDA USA) *Ralf Tonjes(GER) *Yasuhiro Takeuchi(UK)
* Richard piason(USA) etcらによるブタを中心とした人獣共通感染症（特にレトロウイルス）の制御についての Luncheon symposium があります。

　加えて、IXAに参加されますと、異種移植研究の分野でのTransgenic pig, Knockout pigの進展、異種移植の臨床応用の実態、課題、またブタを使ったヒトiPS研究、等が把握出来ます。
なお、IXAの抄録の締め切りは、７月15日です。

　ブタゲノム情報を活用した食と医の新展開
– ゲノム育種技術と医用モデルの開発の開催について –

(独)農業生物資源研究所と(社)農林水産・食品産業技術振興協会(JATAFF)は、
共催でNIASシンポジウム「最新アニマルテクノロジー」公開シンポジウム：
ブタゲノム情報を活用した食と医の新展開 — ゲノム育種技術と医用モデルの
開発 — を、平成24年11月9日(金曜日)、秋葉原コンベンションホールで開催
します。

｢家畜ゲノム育種の実用化｣および｢医療用モデルブタの開発｣の研究成果を
紹介すると共に、研究成果の普及および今後の研究の発展を目的に開催しま
す。

第2回世界キスペプチン会議のお知らせ

2012年11月6日から9日の4日間、第2回世界キスペプチン会議（会長　前多敬一郎）が東京大学伊藤国際学術研究センター（新築です）において、開催されます。講演要旨および早期参加登録の〆切が当初は8月15日でしたが、10日間延長されて8月25日になる予定です。繁殖生物学会の会員のみなさまに多数おいでいただくことをお待ちしております。詳しくは、ウェブサイトまで（http://www.kp2012.jp）。

Join us in Vancouver on July 29 – August 2, 2012 for the International Congress on Animal Reproduction (ICAR 2012).

This is to remind you to register now! Early-bird registration closes on Monday, May 14, 2012. In addition, hotels are quickly filling. We have negotiated preferential hotel rates so there should be no better deal available.

The scientific program features a who’s-who of international stars in animal reproduction presenting in 4 Plenary Sessions, 12 Symposia, and
18 Workshops, and over 550 posters. The Congress will begin with our opening keynote address by Matthew Cobb (author of “Generation”) on “The discovery of the sperm and egg: An amazing 10 years”, followed immediately by the ICAR 2012 Simmet Prize address by John Aitken on “New horizons on an old landscape – oxidative stress, DNA damage and apoptosis in the male germ line”. Over the following 4 days, more than
50 invited speakers will present on topics that span the breadth of reproduction in large animals and small, domestic and wild, culminating with our closing keynote speaker Stephen J O’Brien (author of “Tears of the Cheetah”) who will present “A Moving Landscape of Wildlife Genetics”. With a stellar Program and an absolutely stunning venue, there is literally something for everyone at ICAR 2012!
