    Registration fees include a printed copy of the proceedings.

    Registration fee and Get-Together-Party fee are payable at the registration desk. An abstract book is included in the registration fee. The persons who had paid early application fee will receive the abstract book in advance by postage. Please receive your name card at the registration desk. The persons who will make a registration at the desk will receive the book and name card at the desk. Regular members will receive an abstract book in advance regardless of the payment of the registration fee.

    It will be a pleasure of the Organizing Members to welcome both SRD members and non-members to the party.

  • 7. How to arrive at the venues
  • Azabu University
  • For the location of Azabu University, please visit the following websites: http://www.azabu-u.ac.jp/english/access.html
    It takes about 4 min on foot from Yabe station of JR Yokohama line.

  • 8. Ordinal presentations
  • Oral presentations
  • Presentation time is 10 min plus 5 min for discussion, total 15 min. We will use Windows PC installed Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2013. Please check the compatibility in advance if you prepare your file using the same software but in another version. Bring your file within a USB flush memory or CD-R to the submission desk (the lecture room #8503 on the 5th floor of the #8 building) by 60 min before your presentation.
  • Poster presentations
  • Poster boards about 85 cm wide and 120 cm height will be prepared in the Poster Presentation Area in the One-hundred Anniversary Memorial Hall on the 6th floor of the #8 building. The formal poster session is on 12 (Mon) and 13 (Tue) of September. The poster presenters will need to stand by your poster to give a presentation, answer questions and meet colleagues with similar research interests.

    For EVEN number posters: on September 12 (Mon) 15:30–17:00
    For ODD number posters: on September 13 (Tue) 13:15–14:45

    Put your poster (all number) on the board with the identified presentation number by 10:00 on September 12, and remove your posters by 16:00 on September 14. The office staff will take away all the unremoved posters after that time.

  • 9. Evaluation of SRD Outstanding Presentation Award
  • Oral presentation section
  • Location: the Lecture Hall in Azabu University
    Date & time: On September 12 (Mon) at 13:10–14:55

    Seven titles (AW-1–AW-7) have been selected after the primary evaluation. The results of the evaluation have been already informed to the first authors. These titles will be further evaluated at the Meeting (the 2nd evaluation). The presentation (plus discussion) will be evaluated by the designated reviewers, and excellent titles will be awarded at the General Meeting on September 13 in the Lecture Hall.

  • Poster presentation section
  • On September 12 (Thu) at 15:30–17:00, in Poster Presentation Area in the One-hundred Anniversary Memorial Hall on the 7th floor of the #8 building, the posters for the award will be put on the board with the identified presentation number by 10:00 on September 12. The first authors will need to stand during the presentation time as mentioned above and have discussion with participants including the reviewers. The presentation (plus discussion) will be evaluated by the designated reviewers, and excellent titles will be awarded at the General Meeting on September 13. Please note that your poster must be removed by 16:00 on September 14. The office staff will take away all the remained posters after that time.

  • 10. General Meeting & Ceremony for the SRD Awards
  • Location: The lecture hall in Azabu University
    Date & time: On September 13 (Fri) at 15:00–17:40.

    The details will be obtained in the abstract book (in Japanese).
    Ceremony for the SRD awards
    After the ceremony, the scientific award winners will give their presentations.

  • 11. Mini Symposium for Students and Young Researchers
  • Venue: Cafeteria “Sakura” in Azabu University
    Date & time: On September 12 (Mon) at 17:30–20:00

    Mini symposium for students and young researchers will be held, as has happened in the past, to promote scientific activities and friendship for young scientists. The SRD Committee for the Promotion of Young Scientists will offer interesting events to the attendees. The committee members encourage all the young researchers (as well as the senior researchers) to join this occasion to talk about their interests with each other in person.

  • 12. Luncheon Seminar by the Committee for Promotion of Gender Equality
  • On September 13 (Tue) to at 12:00–13:00, the lecture hall in Azabu University,

    SRD Committee for Promotion of Gender Equality has planned a luncheon seminar to provide the opportunity to consider the significance of gender equality. We encourage the attendees of the Meeting to join this seminar to share ideas about gender equality across different ages and current situations.
    *Limited number of the lunch tickets will be provided at the registration desk from 8:30 on September 13 (Tue), on a first-come-first-served basis.

    The seminar will be operated in Japanese.
    The seminar is supported by Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research from Japan Society for the Promotion of Science under Grant-in-Aid for Publication of Scientific Research Results.
