  • Honorary member Free
    Regular & Silver member 6,000 yen (at the registration desk)
    Student member 3,500 yen (at the registration desk)
    Non-member 6,500 yen
    Registration fees include a printed copy of the proceedings.

    Registration fee and Get-Together-Party fee are payable at the registration desk. An abstract book is included in the registration fee. The persons who had paid early application fee will receive the abstract book in advance by postage. Please receive your name card at the registration desk. The persons who will make a registration at the desk will receive the book and name card at the desk. Regular members will receive an abstract book in advance regardless of the payment of the registration fee.

  • Miyazaki Citizen’s Plaza is located in the neighbor of Miyazaki City Hall Office.
    From JR Miyazaki station, it takes about 10 min by the bus (bus stop: Tachibanadori 1-chome), or about 30 min’s walk.

  • 8. Ordinal presentations
  • Oral presentation (OR1-1–OR1-36, OR2-1–OR2-34)
    Presentation time is 10 min plus 5 min for discussion (total 15 min). We will use Windows PC installed Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2013. Please check the compatibility in advance if you prepare your file using the same software but in another version. Bring your file within a USB flush memory or CD-R to the submission desk.

    Poster presentations (P-22–P-119)
    Poster boards about 85 cm wide and 120 cm height will be prepared in the Poster Presentation Area. The formal poster session is on Thursday 17th and Friday18th September. The poster presenters will need to stand by your poster to give a presentation, answer questions and meet colleagues with similar research interests.

    For EVEN number posters: September 17 (Thu) 15:30–16:30
    For ODD number posters: September 18 (Fri) 13:15–15:15
    Put your poster (all number) on the board with the identified presentation number by 12:00 on September 17, and remove your posters after the presentation by 18:00 on September 18. The office staff will take away all the unremoved posters after that time.

  • 9. Evaluation of SRD Outstanding Presentation Award
  • Oral presentation section
    Location: the 3rd hall (the #L111 lecture room) in University of Miyazaki
    Date & time: September 17 (Thu) 13:00–14:30
    Six titles (AW-1–AW-6) have been selected after the primary evaluation. The results of the evaluation have been already informed to the first authors. These titles will be further evaluated at the Meeting (the 2nd evaluation). The presentation (plus discussion) will be evaluated by the designated reviewers, and excellent titles will be awarded at the General Meeting on September 18.

    September 17 (Thu) 15:00–16:30, Poster Presentation Area (The 330 Memorial Hall)
    Twenty-one titles (P-1–P-21) have been submitted for the poster presentation award section. The posters with these titles will be put on the board with the identified presentation number by 12:00 on September 17. The first authors will need to stand during the presentation time as mentioned above and have discussion with participants including the reviewers. The presentation (plus discussion) will be evaluated by the designated reviewers, and excellent titles will be awarded at the General Meeting on September 18. Please note that your poster must be removed by 18:00 September 18. The office staff will take away all the unremoved posters after that time.

  • 11. Mini symposium for students and young researchers
  • Venue: Cafeteria in University of Miyazaki
    Date & time: September 17 (Thu); 17:00–20:00
    Mini symposium for students and young researchers will be held, as has happened in the past, to promote scientific activities and friendship for young scientists. The SRD Committee for the Promotion of Young Scientists will offer interesting events to the attendees. The committee members encourage all the young researchers (as well as the senior researchers) to join this occation to talk about their interests with each other in person.

  • 12. Luncheon seminar by the Committee for Promotion of Gender Equality
  • September 18 (Fri); 12:00–13:00, the 1st hall (the #L107 lecture room) in University of Miyazaki
    SRD Committee for Promotion of Gender Equality has planned a luncheon seminar to provide the opportunity to consider the significance of gender equality. We encourage the attendees of the Meeting to join this seminar to share ideas about gender equality across different ages and current situations.
    *Limited number of the lunch tickets will be provided at the registration desk from 8:50 September 18 (Fri), on a first-come-first-served basis.

  • 14. Open Seminar for Citizens
  • Venue: Miyazaki Citizen’s Plaza, Albright-hall (1st floor)

    Date & time: September 20 (Sun); 13:00-16:00
    Title: The Possibility of Animal Reproduction in the Space
    Following introductory lecture on the reproduction in domestic animals and sperm banking, and biological research activities by Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), current situations and future perspective of the project on animal reproduction in the Japanese Experiment Module (‘Kibo’) for the International Space Station will be presented. The seminar will be operated in Japanese.
