Meeting

The108th SRD Meeting Organizing Members are pleased to invite you to the SRD annual meeting. The main meeting will be held at University of Miyazaki from 17 to 20 September 2015. At the Miyazaki Meeting we ensure enough time for oral and poster presentations to guarantee the opportunities for the sufficient discussion as we did in the past meetings. We would like to encourage young scientists and students, who should serve as important driving forces in our society of the next generation, to submit abstracts for SRD Outstanding Presentation Award and to participate actively in the Meeting. We also would like to encourage all attendees to take full advantage of this wonderful opportunity to share ideas and insights with one another, and make new acquaintances in Miyazaki, the city known for its fine beach and scenic beauty.

5. Registration Fee
Honorary member: Free Regular & Silver member: 5,000 yen (early application) / 6,000 yen (at the registration desk); Student member: 3,000 yen (early application) / 3,500 yen (at the registration desk); Non-member: 6,500 yen Registration fees include a printed copy of the proceedings, and they will be payable online.

6. Abstract submission
May 20 (Wed) 14:00 – June 22 (Mon) 14:00 JST (in a plan) Abstracts for regular presentation and the competition (for SRD Outstanding Presentation Award) must be submitted during the above-mentioned term. They must be written in English or Japanese. The first author and presenter must be members of SRD. For the membership registration process, please contact the SRD office (info@reproduction.jp).
7. Application qualification for competition for SRD Outstanding Presentation Award
Age should be 32 or less as of April 1, 2015. No situation limited: e.g. salaried or unsalaried, regular staff or not, full time or part time, degree (bachelor, master or doctor). The person who engaged the position beside scientific activities can also apply. However, once awarded in the past, he/she cannot apply within 2 years.
8. Presentation
Oral or poster presentation can be chosen at the time of submission in both regular presentation and competition. Both types of presentations will be carried out in English or Japanese. We will provide projector connecting to a PC in the oral presentation rooms.
9. Further information
We will provide more detailed information in Circulars 2 and 3, which should become available in April and July 2015, respectively. Also we will inform the details of abstract submission in Circular 2.

In addition to the above-mentioned public transportation, we plan to provide shuttle buses or shared-taxies for the Meeting attendees. They will run between Miyazaki Airport and the University Campus, and between the University Campus and City center at certain times of a day during the Meeting period.
