  • Open April 30 (Wed), 2014 14:00 (JST)
    Close May 29 (Thu), 2014 14:00 (JST)

Abstracts for regular presentations and the competition (for SRD Outstanding Presentation Award) must be submitted during the above-mentioned term. They must be written in English or Japanese. Abstracts for both regular and competitive presentations will be submitted to the website. After the successful submission of the abstract, confirmation mail will be sent to the author. Please use reliable e-mail address for the correspondence to reduce errors. We do not recommend using free mail address (hotmail, yahoo and Gmail etc.) or those for mobile phones. If you have any difficulty in abstract submission, please contact the Meeting Organizing Office (srd107@obihiro.ac.jp).

Each presenter can give only one presentation regardless of the format (oral or poster presentation). Multiple abstracts with the same first author cannot be accepted. Abstract submission for regular presentation should be completed by the presenter or corresponding author at the Web site. Abstract submission for competitive presentation for the SRD Outstanding Presentation Award should be completed only by the presenter (applicant) with selecting either oral or poster presentation for the award at the Web site. The Japanese presenter (including foreign students and researchers in Japan) of both regular and competitive presentations must be a current SRD member (honorary, regular, silver or student member). Thus, we would like to recommend the Japanese presenter without membership to apply for the membership before the deadline of abstract submission. Please note that the student membership needs renewal annually. For applying for or renewing the membership, please visit http://reproduction.jp/NewHP/Membership_J.html (in Japanese) or contact the SRD office (srdoffice@reproduction.jp).
Other presenters (including the foreign attendees from overseas) except Japanese presenters (including foreign students and researchers in Japan) are not required to have current SRD membership for presentation.

According to the author instruction in the submission page, title and abstract should be completed in English within 140 and 1720 letters including spaces, respectively (alternatively in Japanese within 70 and 860 letters). No figures and tables are acceptable. For the application for the competitive presentation for SRD Outstanding Presentation Award (the section of oral presentation), an additional abstract (long version) for the primary evaluation MUST be prepared within 3200 letters (in English) and submitted as a file. Figures and tables cannot be included in this formatted abstract. For the applicant to the competitive presentation for the award (the section of poster presentation), however, it is NOT necessary to submit any additional abstract. Please submit your abstract as early as possible. Submission tasks in the server system will be busy just before the deadline; this may result in requirement of much time for completion of abstract submission or causing unexpected errors in the system.

Please select one presentation format from the following four choices; 1) Oral presentation only, 2) Poster presentation only, 3) Oral presentation preferred (the applicant will accept poster presentation according to SRD office decision) and 4) Poster presentation preferred (the applicant will accept oral presentation according to SRD office decision). The prescribed number of oral regular presentations is 90, though that of poster presentation is not determined yet. If the number of the applicants to the presentation in the oral or poster session should be over the prescribed numbers, the SRD office would decide change of the presentation formats (oral or poster presentation) for some of the applicants who would select 3) or 4). If the presentation format should be changed, we will inform the applicants about the change.
