Author Instruction for Abstract Submission and the SRD Outstanding Presentation Award

Abstract submission for the 105th SRD Annual Meeting in Tsukuba and application for the SRD Outstanding Presentation Awards (both Oral and Poster Presentations) are available only through the internet. In case you do not have any access to the submission page, please inform us at the Tsukuba Office of the 105th Annual Meeting. Submission site is now open and will be closed at 17:00 on Thursday, June 14.

Abstract Submission Period

10:00 on Wednesday, May 16 - 17:00 on Thursday, June 14

• After the deadline, no one can access the abstract submission website.
• During the abstract submission period, the applicant can view and revise the registering contents by him-/herself. To visit the submission website for these purposes, ID number and password, which the applicant will fix at the first visiting the site, will be necessary. Please do not forget them.
• If you will apply for the SRD Outstanding Oral Presentation Award, please send the application form (MS-Word format is acceptable; template file is available on this page).
• The applicant must follow the Qualification for the SRD Outstanding Presentation Awards as below.

• Please submit your abstract with time to spare. Submission tasks in the server system will be busy just before the time deadline; this may result in requirement of much time for completion of abstract submission or causing unexpected errors in the system.

Notes

1. Each presenter can give only one presentation regardless of the format (oral or poster presentation). Multiple abstracts with the same first author cannot be accepted.
2. Abstract submission should be completed by the presenter or corresponding author.
3. Application for the SRD Outstanding Presentation Award should be completed only by the presenter (applicant) with selecting (either Ooral or Pposter Presentation Award). Please obtain permission of the supervisor or corresponding author for the application.
4. No figure and table are acceptable in the abstract.
5. After the successful submission of the abstract, confirmation mail will be sent to the author. We do not recommend using free mail address （hotmail, yahoo and etc.） or those for mobile phones.

• Please enter the Presentation Information and the Contact Person Information in the submission form.
  
  • Please select the one of the research category (major- and sub-classifications).
  • Please select presentation language (English or Japanese).
  • Please select your presentation preference from the following preference options; Oral presentation only, Poster presentation only, Oral presentation preferred (the applicant will accept poster format) and Poster presentation preferred (the applicant will accept oral format). When the format will be changed, we will inform the applicant.
  • Title should be no more than 140 characters, including spaces.
  • The body of your abstract should be no more than 1,720 characters, including spaces. You can copy and paste the abstract text edited by the MS-Word. You can use the formatted text as follows: superscripts, subscripts, bold faces, italics, and underlined words.
  • If you will apply for the SRD Outstanding Oral Presentation Award, an additional abstract for the primary evaluation should be prepared and submitted (MS-Word format is acceptable; template file is available on this page). The body of the abstract should be no more than 3,200 characters.
  • If you will apply for the SRD Outstanding Poster Presentation Award, any additional abstract is not necessary to be submitted.
  • Please enter the membership ID number of each author. First author and the presenter must be current members of the Society. Please apply the membership before the deadline of abstract submission. When you are in the process or if you do not know your membership ID number, please enter "9999".
