The 105th SRD Annual Meeting
Announcement, Circular 1
The105th SRD Meeting Organizing Members are pleased to invite you to the SRD annual meeting. The main meeting will be held at University of Tsukuba, University Hall during September 5 −8, 2012. And the satellite symposium will be held in The University of Tokyo, Yayoi Auditorium/Ichijo Hall on September 10, 2012. We are now preparing scientific programs. In Tsukuba meeting we ensure enough time for oral and poster presentations to guarantee the opportunities for the sufficient discussion as we did in the past meetings. We would like to encourage young scientists and students who will be responsible for the next generations to submit abstracts for SRD Outstanding Presentation Award. In the main meeting, we will have the 2nd Japan-Korea-China Joint Symposium, in which we will discuss the current and future technologies for animal reproduction. And also we plan to hold two regular symposia; the recent technologies for pig reproduction, and the comparative and reproductive approaches between birds and mammals (both symposia will be operated in Japanese). As a satellite symposium, the 2nd Japan-Czech Joint Symposium will be held. This symposium will focus on the reproductive abilities of germ cells from meiosis of oocytes to stem cells in the field of not only basic reproduction but also regenerative medicine. In the open seminar entitled “Reproductive and bleeding technologies enable us to maintain bio-diversity through the time and space” (operated in Japanese), we invite ordinary people, university and high school students to give a chance to consider the importance of bio-diversity for the future.
The main venue, University of Tsukuba, University Hall locates in very comfortable circumstances. Tsukuba Express and Highway bus service offer very convenient access from Tokyo. Please visit Tsukuba in the early autumn.
